John Di Biagio - Traumatic brain injury survivor. Graduate
of Shippensburg University, suffered a traumatic drunk driving accident
his senior year of college. He now gives a movtivational talks to students warning
him of the dangers of drinking and driving, using his own story to educate
young people with a real life story.
Now that my life has changed, my goals have also changed. I want to
share my personal story with other students who believe they are invincible.
During my presentation, I show a videotape which depicts my struggles
through the numerous stages of rehabilitation. My goal is to use my experience
to illuminate the danger of drinking and driving and other dangerous
actions. I teach students to take two-steps back and think before taking
actions.
My presentations are approximately forty minuets in
length. My goal is to make a lasting impression on the audience and hopefully
prevent similar tragedies from occurring.
